In 2006 he became an NGH (National Guild of Hypnotists) Certified Instructor.
As an instructor, Lee offers training to those in related professions who want to add hypnosis to their toolboxes, and to those who would like to pursue hypnosis as a career.
In 2009 his work in hypnosis was recognized as he was awarded the status Board Certified Hypnotist.
Lee is also an award winning expert on the DISC model of behavioral communication. He offers individual, group and corporate training in DISC and Hypnotic Communication.

About Hypnosis
Is Hypnosis "mind control" or surrendering control to another?
That is one of the most fundamental misunderstandings regarding hypnosis. If we take smoking as an example, when is a person more in control, when the urge for a cigarette demands their surrender, or when they can simply choose to say "I no longer choose to smoke". Perhaps you have seen a stage show where the hypnotist seemed to exercise a lot of control over the participants. Remember, each participant is a volunteer and the part of them that wants to show off a little bit is just getting his/her chance. The hypnosis is real, yet it fits the desires of the participants.
Our Mission
Our mission is simple
"We help our clients to live at the level of their dreams!"
Of course, no-one dreams of burning a fortune, destroying their health, and ruining their appearance. Yet smokers do exactly that. Whatever else may be true about the relief of stress or the immediate good feeling a person gets from smoking a cigarette, honest smokers will tell you that, after several years, they notice the decline in energy, the loss of memory, the extra wrinkles, the bedroom performance isues, the diministed breathing capacity and the other negative effects of cigarettes.
They also notice the stale smell of cigarette in their clothes, on their hair, in thier car and other places they have been. It is just unavoidable.
Many smokers may not really want to think about what happens to their families when they die young. Lee Pelletier, the founder of QuitSmokingNY.com is such a family member. Lee' dad died lung cancer and emphyzema at the age of 52, when Lee was just 18 and serving in the U.S. Air Force. The 18 years that Lee's mom lived without his dad were very lonely and painful for her and she only stopped smoking after it was way too late. She was only 67 when he died of congestive heart failure as a complication of emphyzema and chronic bronchitis. Lee was just 35. Lee's daughter was only 6. For the rest of her life she had no Nana to tell her the stories grandparents tell and to help her grow into the woman she was to become. Who will miss you the most when cigarette smoking cuts your life short by at least 10 years?
In the year 2000, at the age of just 56, Lee's brother Billy died of congestive heart failure after struggling with smoking related heart disease for more than 15 years. Lee was, of coure, heartbroken. He soon began the study of hypnosis as a means of helping people stop smoking.
Then, in 2005, Lee's brother Ray Pelletier, a world renowned speaker, business consultant and author died because a blood clot from the surgery site found its way to his tobacco weakened lungs and caused pulmonary failure.
Lee also had a foster sister Lorraine who, during his life, had always been a part of his family. In 2005 her body succumbed to the painful death of lung cancer.
Our mission statement says that we
"Help People To Live At The Level of Their Dreams".
In helping you to stop smoking, not only doe Lee help you avoid the harmful effects of smoking, but he also helps your families avoid the kind of pain he has personally experienced. No cigarette tastes as good as dancing with your grandchild at his or her wedding feels.
